About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
About the role
As a Concierge, you are a key ambassador of the hotel, providing exceptional service and personalized recommendations that elevate each guest’s experience. With your deep local knowledge, professional demeanor, and passion for hospitality, you will assist guests with everything from dinner reservations and transportation to curated experiences, always delivered with warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail.
What you will do
- Takes part in the interview process and trains the Concierge Staff. Takes the lead in day-to-day performance of the staff. Coaches staff to achieve Core and Service Culture standards.
- Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
- Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.
- Assures that Concierge Staff knows what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establishes close contacts with vendors in these areas to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests.
- Assures that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current.
- Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.
- Utilizes a variety of software programs to accurately input special arrangements the guest has made and to assure proper billing.
- Works closely with Front Desk, Reservations, Door Staff, Bell Staff and Valet Parking to assure smooth handling of guest arrivals and departures.
- Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the lobby coverage and door.
What you bring
- Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Must have a minimum of two year experience as Concierge and/or Front Desk experience in luxury hospitality.
- Must possess excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
- Attention to detail, the ability to multi task and good problem solving skills are required.
- Previous knowledge of the city of Florence is preferred.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Spanish and English language. A third language is a plus.

Schedule & Hours:
- Seasonal contract, full Time, 40 hours per week, with consecutive and rotating shifts (including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends).
