We are currently seeking a Backend Software Engineer (.NET) to take responsibility for building, enhancing, and maintaining products or systems that support Sage’s business plans and long-term objectives, using the identified architecture.

As a Backend Engineer at Sage, you will contribute to developing new features for Sage Copilot, our new generative AI assistant designed to help customers work more efficiently.

You will leverage your experience in developing .NET API Domain Services to build flexible, scalable, and resilient products in a cross-functional environment.

• Please note that this role is hybrid and will require you to work 3 days a week from our Barcelona office. ***

Responsabilidades principales

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of software development principles, practices, and procedures for complex assignments.
• Proficiency in .NET C# (Experience with React is a plus, or a willingness to learn).
• Experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL (MS SQL is acceptable).
• Familiarity with API tools such as Postman or similar (Bruno experience is a bonus).
• Experience with AWS (Azure experience is also acceptable).
• Understanding of behaviour-driven development (BDD) testing and test automation techniques.
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.
• An interest in AI software is preferred.
