AXA Partners is seeking a skilled Reserving Actuary to join our central Financial Performance Management team. The role focuses on a broad range of actuarial activities to support the business, with strong collaboration across Finance, Risk Management, and Technical Excellence.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be a key member of AXA Partners’ central Financial Performance Management team, delivering actuarial support across reserving, forecasting, budgeting, portfolio monitoring, capital management, and profitability analysis for the AXA Assistance scope.
You’ll influence strategy and risk management in a multi-national environment, collaborating with Finance, Risk Management, and Technical Excellence, with exposure to IFRS17, Solvency II, and local GAAP, and presenting to senior governance forums.
Main missions:

- Contribute to the 1st opinion reserving process for IFRS reporting; support quarterly reserve calculations under local GAAP, IFRS17, and Solvency II.
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk Management, and Technical Excellence to communicate results; present at Reserving Forum and Reserving Committee.
- Maintain actuarial tools; contribute to portfolio profitability analysis and process animation; ensure AXA Partners Reserving Policy is up to date.
- Support Risk Management on broader reserving and actuarial topics; conduct in-depth portfolio analyses for ad-hoc reviews.
- Provide training on technical and communication standards; engage with internal/external stakeholders for QA and AXA standards.
- Monitor Assistance portfolios, develop monitoring procedures, generate regular reports, and propose adjustments as needed.
What you’ll bring:
- 4+ years in a large international organization, preferably in finance and insurance.
- Experience in Solvency II and IFRS17 reporting; pricing experience a plus.
- Actuarial qualification from a recognized professional body; fluent English; multicultural experience a plus.
- Strong integrity, dependability, urgency, and results orientation.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills; ability to create clear, convincing presentations.
- Team player; collaborative; proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; coding (R/VBA) a plus.
