Accenture have built an analytics tool for a client that they can use to analyse the performance of their convenience retail business. Hosted on Power BI, the tool is packaged into a set of reports that enable users to analyse client’s Electronic Point of Sale data (EPOS) and understand the performance of categories (i.e. alcohol, confectionery, soft drinks), brands and products across eight different markets. Whilst provisioning this data to client’s category management teams, we also support them in monetising this data to their convenience retail suppliers (i.e. Coca-Cola, Unilever) who can subscribe to the tool. We are looking for a new Data Monetisation Lead to develop this workstream across European markets helping client to target new suppliers, drive usage from subscribing suppliers and lead business development opportunities such as migration of service onto advanced data visualisation software.

Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Management: Build and convert sales pipeline across markets with a 10% revenue growth target for FY21 (achieved >50% YOY revenue growth in FY20)
  • Tool Engagement: Onboard and train suppliers to use the tool effectively, delivering over 50 sessions per quarter
  • Supplier PoC: Manage relationships with suppliers and resolve challenges with the tech team, maintaining over 115 subscriptions across markets
  • Client PoC: Act as the point of contact for European and local market stakeholders, managing and delivering the workstream
  • Governance: Present progress to client stakeholders via bi-weekly calls and deliver monthly commercial reports
  • Product Improvement: Identify and manage product enhancements
  • Market Onboarding: Prepare for onboarding new markets (Spain and Portugal), building new pipelines and educating local category managers
  • Operating Model: Improve the Go-to-Market operating model by enhancing the end-to-end sales process
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations of a complex matrix of stakeholders, including over 115 supplier subscribers and around 30 client stakeholders
  • Presentation: Communicate the business value of the tool and service delivered to suppliers and client stakeholders daily

Required Skills:

  • Commercial Acumen: Understanding commercial targets and objectives, and developing initiatives to achieve them
  • Project Management: Managing multiple tasks and ongoing projects to achieve commercial objectives
  • CPG Context: Understanding trends in consumer packaged goods to make the tool relevant to suppliers
  • Analytics Context: Understanding how data supports business decision-making and integrating it into existing operating models
  • Product Development: Understanding project management principles for communication with the tech team
