Job Description:
Merkle is a dynamic and fast-growing organization with over 4,000 team members across Europe. This position is based in our vibrant Barcelona office and plays a key role in supporting our European operations.
As part of the European team, you’ll collaborate closely with the rest of EMEA locations. You’ll also provide high-level administrative support to the members of the Merkle EMEA Executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive support to the CFO in EMEA and the CEO in Spain covering the following:
- Agenda / calendar management and coordination
- Travel and expense management
- Meeting attendance and support
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external queries—screen, redirect, and follow up as needed.
- Prepare a variety of business documents including correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, and meeting minutes using standard software tools.
- Lead and support the office management team in Barcelona (Office Manager and receptionist).
- Coordinate and lead events in related to the office location
- Support the development and implementation of administrative standards, policies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments and levels to ensure seamless office operations.
What We’re Looking For
- 3 – 4 years of experience in an Executive Assistant or similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- A proactive approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office 365.
- Confidence in building and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
