How you will make contributions that matter

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor oversees daily lab operations, ensuring all testing and quality standards are met in line with safety, regulatory, and NATA requirements. This role requires a proactive leader who can support the team and drive continuous improvement.

• Lead day-to-day laboratory operations with a focus on safety and compliance
• Ensure testing aligns with documented procedures and NATA standards
• Coordinate staff rosters and approve timesheets
• Support internal audits and implement corrective actions
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safe work practices

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in laboratory supervision
• Strong technical background in food or pharmaceutical testing within a NATA accredited laboratory
• Effective communicator with strong leadership and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an advantage
