Description:
Provides management and leadership of maintenance department. Plans and prioritizes resources (material and personnel) to ensure aircraft condition and availability, with a constant focus on contract metrics. The candidate must have a broad and deep understanding of aircraft maintenance and maintenance management procedures and must also understand the theories, concepts, principles and techniques within these fields.
What you will be responsible for:
- Manages and supervises all aspects of site maintenance and ensures all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Independently perform maintenance tasks as needed.
- Responsible for adherence to government approved ground operating procedures as well as all applicable government instructions and policies and maintaining equipment maintenance schedules on all company/government equipment.
- Works with government customers to ensure availability of materials, anticipating requirements and coordinating with host activities to ensure successful completion of assigned maintenance tasking.
- Offers technical guidance in support of equipment and maintenance programs.
- Requires frequent interaction with external organizations and US Government civilian and military personnel.
- Interview, hire, and train employees
- All other duties as assigned to ensure mission success.
Qualifications
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ten (10) years of equivalent experience in managing a multidiscipline work force required to perform major aircraft inspections and repairs, organizational maintenance, aircrew flight operations and training.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Common Access Card
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain a US passport.
