How you will make contributions that matter:

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our team at our site in Kiewa. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems across our production facilities.

You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced dairy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production & processing equipment
• Diagnosing and repair mechanical faults while ensuring compliance with food safety standards to support production priorities
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with WHS, GMP, and HACCP requirements
• Accurately document maintenance activities using SAP (training provided)
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive equipment reliability and process improvements
• Contribute to a culture of food safety, ensuring maintenance practices consistently meet regulatory & business standards

Skills & Experience:

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Comfortable working a 4 on and 4 off roster, and 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and process systems.
• Experience in dairy or food manufacturing (highly regarded).
• Positive attitude toward digital systems and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
