As a Sales Account Manager for our Smart Energy unit here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s success. Your experience managing key accounts and building strong relationships will enable you to effectively meet customer needs and exceed their expectations. By identifying new business opportunities and delivering customized solutions, you will contribute to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and the company’s overall success.
You will report directly to our Director of Sales and role could be based at our Madrid or Errenteria office, with a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell’s growth and success by achieving business objectives, formulating growth strategies, driving innovation, and leading a high-performing team. Your ability to build strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver customized solutions will improve customer satisfaction, strengthen the company’s market position, and foster long-term business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for client relations, according to assigned area of responsibility.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs and providing customized solutions.
- Commercial reporting and demand forecasting in the assigned area, using the SFDC (Sales Force) tool to report business opportunities.
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years of experience in consultative sales and key account management of complete hardware and software solutions, with a proven track record in business development.
- Extensive knowledge of smart water management in buildings or the industrial sector: collaboration with utilities and distributors in the metering and water cycle markets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with clients.
- Strong customer focus, with a commercial mindset, a focus on service excellence, and experience driving revenue growth and achieving goals.
- High level of English or proficiency is required; Italian or French is a plus.
- Availability to travel (70%) to Spain and Southern Europe (Italy, Croatia, and Greece).

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
