The Position
The Opportunity
In this role, you will join the Global Customer Support (GCS), and lead the Coagulation, Hematology & Urinalysis (CHU) and Near Patient Care (NPC) product team in Spain with focus on the Diabetes Care products. As a leader, your main responsibilities would include:
- Attract, retain, motivate and develop a high performing team. Focus on individual and team career development to ensure successful execution and delivery of the goals and strategy
- Contribute to and execute the global support strategy within your area of responsibility
- Drive the implementation of global strategic initiatives relevant to regional and local support organizations
- Build, implement and improve infrastructure, harmonized processes, procedures and capabilities in the team to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Proactively build effective relationships and manage stakeholders from Roche affiliates and regional service representatives
- Develop strong patient and customer orientation in an open and transparent culture
- Ensure that relevant documentation is completed according to Quality processes.
- Manage budget and resource planning for the team
- Reduce service costs, improve reliability and improve customer experience
- Act as the bridge between the customers/Roche local affiliates and the Roche global teams such as marketing and R&D to ensure the voice of customers and patients is reflected in product development and product improvements
Who you are
- Leadership experience in a local, regional and/or global, matrix organization
- Experience in Patient facing roles such as Customer Support, Marketing, Sales or related business experience
- Understanding of Diagnostics Market, Products and related regulatory requirements
- Understanding of disease states, therapy, monitoring and disease management of Diabetes
- Strong intercultural communication and Team development skills
- Strong system thinker with analytical and strategic competencies
- Success in driving a culture dedicated to customer focus, compliance and continuous improvement
- Fluent in English. Additional language knowledge is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in a Medical or Science discipline preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
