We are looking for a talented Test Engineer to join our team, specialising in Manufacturing for our Accelera Plant in Guadalajara, Spain.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Developing, maintaining, and upgrading test equipment and architectures: Ensuring application products are tested with advanced and reliable equipment for higher quality and performance.
  • Analysing test results: Providing recommendations and guidance on the root causes of test failure events to improve product reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Understanding end product specific functional tests during assembly: Ensuring products meet their functional requirements during assembly, contributing to overall product quality.
  • Cross-functional knowledge: Collaborating effectively with various departments, including product engineering, quality, manufacturing engineering, and facilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards: Making sure all test procedures adhere to safety regulations, protecting the workforce and end users.
  • Ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards: Maintaining consistency and quality in production by ensuring all test procedures meet manufacturing standards.
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of test processes: Streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
  • Continuous improvement: Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, ensuring the company stays ahead in innovation and quality.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Test Control Systems: Design, operate, and optimise test control systems to obtain quality results and make data-driven decisions ensuring the product meets customer quality requirements.
  • Data Mining: Extract insights from data by identifying relationships and patterns using data exploration and visualisation techniques to understand the underlying structure and build sound models.
  • Problem Solving: Solve problems using systematic analysis processes and industry-standard methodologies. Determine the assignable cause, implement robust solutions, identify systemic root causes, and ensure actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Health and Safety Fundamentals: Champion proactive health and safety behaviours by identifying, reporting, and participating in actions to improve health and safety, contributing to an injury-free workplace.

Education/Experience:

  • College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Basic level of relevant work experience required.
  • Requires cross functional knowledge of product engineering, quality, manufacturing engineering, and facilities.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
